Squeaky Shoes......

On the 28th we got a long-awaited package that contained new squeaky shoes for Lily! This girl just HATES hard soled shoes and refuses to wear them. With all of the cold temps and snow on the ground, I really wanted her to wear something more substantial on her feet! I thought the squeaky shoes would intrigue her and I was right!

When I first put them on her, she did not like them (because they are hard soled) and sunk down to the ground, refusing to walk or stand in them! I held her hand and got her to take 2 steps....and she squeaked! She plopped down on the ground and twisted her foot around looking to see what she stepped on! LOL I stood her up and got her to take 2 more steps and she, again, bent over to look under her foot! LOL It was hilarious and I so wish I would have gotten that on video! After checking a second time to make she wasn't stepping on something, she stomped her foot and laughed at the squeak! Then she ran in place a little, listening to the squeak! And then she was off........This video shows what she did for the next 20+ minutes! And she wore the shoes for 2 hours! She LOVES them! :)
