Free diapers!!

LOL Only a Mom could get excited over diapers. *sigh* I LOVE the gdiapers I've been using, but the flushable inserts can be a bit pricey! The cheapest I have found them are autoship ordered from Amazon and that brings them to 27 cents. I did buy some last week from another Mom selling off her leftovers and got them around 25 cents a piece, but TODAY I had a lady GIVE me 120 of these flushables for just her shipping expenses! I got 120 flushable diapers for $10.11! That comes to around 8 cents each! AWESOME! Also, on Monday I sent out one of my gdiapers to my friend Stephanie who is very handy with a sewing machine and has a snap press. She is going to replace the velcro on that gdiaper with snaps (the velcro tends to curl in the wash) so I can give that a try and see how I like it. She is also going to make me a couple cloth inserts that I can use (and reuse) instead of the flushable liners! I tried cloth with Chris and was unimpressed, so I'm just getting a couple to give it a try and see if I'm up for cloth this time around! It would certainly be cheaper!!

Lately Lily has been waking up very happy from her naps. Instead of immedietly fussing or crying for me to come and get her, she looks around, plays with the pacifiers that live in her bed (they don't leave the bed) and looks at the baby moniter camera! She is so silly!

Today I also mailed out April's Locks of Love. We sent in a little over 10 inches (I had to wait for it to dry out before mailing it). I put it in a bubble mailer and took it to the post office! The guy at the counter CHARGED me for the bubble mailer I brought from home! :O He didn't say anything about it, just added it onto the bill with the shipping. I was surprised that shipping would be nearly $4 for something so light (even the heavier diaper I sent on Monday didn't cost that much), but I don't know how these postal rates work so I paid it. After I had paid he handed me the reciept and on my way back to the car with Lily and Chris I was looking it over. That's when I found that he had charged me $2.59 for the mailer. *sigh* I went back in to get my money back (if I could) but the line was insanely long! I waited a few minutes, but it just wasn't moving so I left. It really bothered me that he would charge me for it without even talking to me about it! Seriously, I came into the building with it sealed and addressed already! Oh well, it's only 2 bucks....
