This crazy girl literally wrestles the diaper wipe out of my hand when I'm trying to clean her up after eating solids, then shoves it in her mouth and sucks on it! Eeeeeewwwwww! But, like most people with a picky palate, not all diaper wipes taste the same (did you know that??)! She MUCH prefers the taste of Huggies wipes! These Pampers wipes I've been using lately are hardly worth the fight! Watch out if you use a Huggies wipe, though! She'll take your finger off trying to get it away from you! Whatta goof ball she is!
Today she had pluots (plum and apricot cross-breed) for breakfast. I think she liked them, but they were a bit too tart. Tomorrow I will mix them with avacado to see if I can tone down that flavor a bit! She's really been enjoying her solids lately....as long as they are completely smooth! One little lump in there and she will gag so hard you think she's going to throw up! I guess as an older child and adult she will live on soup broth, jello and pudding! :)
On a different note, April and Chris were looking particularly angelic this morning....April enjoys *reading* to Chris every morning and teaching him the stuff she's learned in Kindergarten. Here they are this morning in their morning lessons...
