Well, he stopped working at about 1:30 so he could head back to the warehouse and finish up his paperwork. He has two stops to do tomorrow morning. I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off getting stuff done today! Today was also the charter school's walk-a-thon fundraiser. April got dropped of in the morning, with the boys, at the main campus (in case you don't know, the school's kindergarten got moved to a different site because of construction on the school building). She was soooo excited to go to the *real* charter school! Buuuuut, because she went early for the walk-a-thon, I had to pick her up at 11! Of course, it threw off our schedule having to pick her up at the unusual time and I, sadly, had to wake up the sick baby from her nap! I hate that!!
Dan got home from work at about 3, rushed to take a shower and move car seats and pack up everything we needed for Bandimere (last year it was cold and windy, so we wanted to bring warm clothes!) and hurry out the door to pick the boys up from school! Then we were on our way! Dan dropped us off and then got in line for time trials.
While waiting for Dan to race I took a pic of a car just as it was coming off the line....fronts wheels off the ground! COOL! Dan said I should sell it to the guy for $10! LOL

After his 3 time trials we went and had dinner (included in our admission fee of $6). They had hamburgers, hot dogs, brats and all the trimmings! They also had salad, chips and delious chocolate chip cookies and ice cream!! Not bad for $6!! After dinner was elimination (LOL). Elimination racing that is....He raced his best lap at 17.33 seconds, but still lost...the other car got off the line faster and was just quicker.
After Dan was eliminated we hung around and watched some of the other cars race and took a bunch of pics.
The big 11 year old!!
Chris loved watching the cars race! He was glued!

Lily was happy to hang out, THE WHOLE TIME, in the Ergo!! Love the smile!

We left around 8:30 and Lily was overtired and cried a good deal. We had to stop somewhere in Denver so I could nurse her, hoping it would settle her down. She was fine until I went to put her back in her car seat! Then she cried a good deal more! I hate listening to her cry, but there just wasn't anything we could do, so we drove on. She fell asleep, but woke up as soon as we pulled into the driveway!! It was 10 by that time and we were EXHAUSTED! Poor Dan still has to get up at 4am, though, to finish the work he didn't get to yesterday! SUCKS!
